A Mirror
I am the older sister, so please let me
All of our burdens carry,
So you can be happy and free,
And your tears never start falling.
Please, just don't ever stop smiling.
Although I'm always quiet and shy,
And you are brave and never cry,
You are my dear little sister,
The friend with whom to this world I came,
Both looking exactly the same.
Are you as happy as I am now?
Because playing with you is how
I wish to spend all the time.
You're my best friend; I'll always trust you,
So could you let me protect you too?
I hear you laugh and I see your eyes,
Just like mine, they are still blue like ice,
Though through this glass they look huge.
You're the one who looks just like me,
So much, that two mirrors we could be.
