Prologue:
"Prince Goros, it's almost time."
The sound of the guard's voice jerked Goros out of his daydream.
"Ah...it is? Then I must make ready. I will be there," Goros said.
"The guard bowed and left the room. Goros turned to the window and stared out. He murmured to himself, almost inaudibly, "The Elder must choose me, or else the kingdom of Elekari will face unimaginable terrors."
