As I stepped through the snow

Never would I know.

What snow is or why

I was about to cry.

I saw a tall man

He wasn't very tan.

It made me want to run

And wish there was the sun.

He came very near

And this struck me with fear.

He had a sharp fang

And I heard a loud bang.

I looked to my right

And all I saw was the night.

With the night was a boy

Who seemed slightly overjoyed.

He had killed the man

Who didn't have a tan.

A vampire is what he's called

And so I was very appalled.

This boy saved my life

From the creature of the night.
