Necessity
It's a necessity, you know, talking to you. It's so important, that I feel sick; and on edge if I don't. It's as though I've been deprived of oxygen if I haven't spoken to you, and believe me, a life without oxygen is difficult- nay, impossible- to lead.
So why don't you get it?
That I need to hear your voice? That I wait on the edge of my seat for that phone to ring? That my heart leaps to my throat and my stomach swoops down to my feet when I say 'Hi' and it's your voice that responds.
So please, just pick up that phone and dial those eight familiar numbers that you claim to know by heart- you'll make my day.
