Architect
Brick by brick
The untruths stick
And souls begin to ponder.
The moans unwrap
As fingers tap
Against the see through walls.
Ghouls come to prey
On minds astray
Which they can peel apart.
Trust has hidden
Yet betrayal is forbidden
Oh what an ironic world.
The tiny girl, tormented by shivers,
Her thoughts begin to wither-
Away until nothing makes sense.
He says that everything will be okay-
A simple lie he is willing to say
To turn the nervous soul calm.
What happens when
Here, and now, and then
Cease to exist at all?
His finger pressed upon his lips,
His hands dig into her young hips
And she swears she'll never tell.
This very moment all will know
This girl was hurt and so-
He was the architect to her bricks.
