When the rain begins fall on the lives we're living now
Driving us off the streets pushing us deeper underground
When the bombs begin to fall on the dark, deserted streets
The downward spiral to our most discouraging defeats
Moisture in the air as we hide from what lies ahead
The only thing I think I know is now I'm better of dead
…
There's not enough rain to wash away the lies
The clouds from my mind or the tears from my eyes
'Cause my heart is bulletproof deep inside a fortress
Locked far away so you can't hear me cry
Nothing left to loose means nothing left at all
Nothing left to live for 'cause you have let me fall
…
Now living in a world we tore apart by our mistakes
Forgetting that a simple is all it ever takes
But when the desolation becomes more than I can bear
I'll pack all my things and travel on this road to nowhere
The dawn that calls me glistens so I hide behind the light
The light that I feel reminds me of what it's like to fight
…
There's no place to hide when everything's so empty
Still dying in the void in the hellhole you left me
So cover me in water, light some gasoline
Burn down the world, but save some of it for me
…

A/N-I've finished this, but I'm really not happy with it... I've restarted it countless times, but I'm glad it's done so I can get it off my mind. The chorus was the only part that stayed.
