I can do things just as well as you.
I have features that make me special.
Why is it so hard for you to see that?

I'm not some incompetent girl.
I have talents, and skills to be noticed.
I can sing and draw and write.
See? I can do that too.

But there's always someone better,
Someone who gets noticed while others sit by,
Wondering why they can't have something
To be noticed for, appreciated for.

Would it be so bad to shout,
"Hey! Look at what I did! I'm special, see?"
It's not like anyone would hear anyway.
I'm not special enough to bother with.
