I am not a big fan of rhyming poetry, but this came to me one day…
Words written across a star
Heed the warning, near and far
Twinkling lights, a night travelers guide
Fall to the earth, searching eyes.
Fallen angels, stripped of wings
Raven crows, choir sings
Darkness, shadows, murders plot
Weary stumble, travelers naught
Dreary days, sleepless nights
See only wrong, prisoner's plight
Stream of red, words wrought in stone
Screaming souls, search for home
Cannon fire, arrows flight
The raven calls, moonless night
War raging, fall to the ground
Search for light where it may be found
Masked faces, ashes and char
These words written across a star
Well, this is confusing, no? These words across a star? Something beautiful and hopeful? What does this mean? My head is full of so much crap.
