What is a Zoboomafoo?
"Zoboomafoo, look Mommy, it's Zoboomafoo!"
People chatter on the ground
but I know not where that's found.
Is it a fruit, or a tree;
a cloud in the sky, a new type of bee?
Bouncing away from them on hind foot and tail
in search of the creature or fail.
Though the trees I will glide
there is no place a Zoboomafoo can hide.
Jumping from one tree, hands ready to grab at;
in hope to grab the leaves of my habitat.
As I jump, I can no longer see
the tiny group of people below me.
Though in spite of feeling kind of blue
Is Zoboomafoo me, is it true?
