A/N So I came up with this last night and thought I'd share. Please read and review!
We had a long happy friendship.
Sure there were
hardships
and times when we argued
or
fought.
But that's in the
past.
Right now as I stand over
you,
reading the carved
inscription
through blurry eyes,
all our happy memories come
rushing back like
a flood;
spreading through my mind like
a forest fire;
drifting in and out of focus like
the wind and air;
rooting themselves in secure places like
the rocks in loose earth.
Funny how the
Four elements
can relate to my emotions as
tears
streaked my face, and hit
the ground, mixing with the rain
as it poured down on
me
soaking my clothes as I remembered
us.
Please review, and let me know if I should continue!
