This is just going to a pillowbook/diary where I write my thoughts, since I have nowhere else to put them and I feel as though I need to record them somewhere. Can't guarantee they'll be funny or interesting – they're just my thoughts.

Reading: Untold Stories – finished reading Alan Bennett's diaries for the second time round.
The only time I feel like taking a shotgun to the birds is when one is chirping incessantly outside my window while I'm trying to revise. Its rhythmic screech becomes so unbearable that even after it stops, you imagine hearing it. When two birds then start chirping unrelentingly, I wish I could just shout out the window, 'Shut the fuck up!' although I refrain since we'd undoubtedly get complaints from the neighbours.
I generally like wildlife, but when it's being just so plain annoying, I really wish I had a gun. A powerful, totally inappropriately large gun, like in Halo.
Words I've learnt today: Sluice, slype, apropos – all from Untold Stories
