Writer's Block

It comes out of nowhere,

A wave of white just

freezing my thoughts –but

It was there and now…

it isn't. Gone- just like that.

I slap my hand to my brow

Angry for lost time and energy.

Why won't it come !

Where did it go !

It's there, but not clearly.

My thoughts! Just stolen.

It's criminal!

So livid I could scream.

No use, it won't come back.

Inspiration: none.

Sad: a story with no end.
