Six Feet Under

Spilled blood on battlefields,
Stain the poppies that now grow,
Buried bodies six feet under in,
Cursed lands of death and sorrow,

Deadly quiet, silent night,
Memories floating in the wind,
Buried bodies six feet under,
Be victims of horrid sin,

Tortured ghost roaming freely,
The grave grounds of their demise,
Buried bodies six feet under,
Never to see the skies,

Screaming silence throughout time,
The ghastly stories of the fallen,
Buried bodies six feet under,
Of those who's souls were stolen…
