A/N: Hey you guys, late and short(ish) chapter, (explained why in bottom) Thanks to junebugz21 and Maddie306 for reviewing my first chapter! I love the support I'm getting from you guys, and also my fellow companions of Duyon Production©, if you have time please check out the other stories of Duyon Production©. Anyways, on with the story.

The whole entire walk to the constable station was very uncomfortable for me, and by how hard the Constable was holding Grace, her arm must've felt rather sore. Each time I tried to get him to ease his grip; it just seemed to get even tighter. I soon gave up as we saw the Constable Station in sight.

As soon as we entered the Constable Station, a different constable came up to us and asked his fellow companion,

"Hey Charles, right on time too, I see you brought another two in." The other constable said to the one holding us, (His name apparently being Charles)

"Yep Williams, took me a while too, good escape artists I give them that. But I need to go ahead and book them in."

"Well, I don't think you can Charles" Williams said. This took Grace's and my attention. You mean that there is a good chance that we can be let free?

"What do you mean? I spent the whole day getting this one for stealing an apple from the crazy merchant that comes every winter," He said pulling at me harshly.
"Then I had to go and arrest this one too for helping!" He said, obviously very frustrated.

"Well Charles, you should've bloody expected it! Ever since those bloody Yankees bloodied the bloody war, we have had no more space to put our prisoners, and you know as well as I do, that we've had plenty of prisoners coming in, with all the 'unable to pay taxes and the sort!" He said, flinging his harms in the air as if it would make them further understand.

"Well I can't just let them go back out, that would go against everything I live for! How about other Jails in London?"

"All of them are full Charles, don't even bother looking. You might as well just let the girls go." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. There was a bloody good chance that I won't have to stay in an old rotten cell!

Freedom! I screamed in my head as my inner self did a happy dance

"Unless…" Charles

I instantly stopped my quite celebration. What did he mean by, unless?

"Unless we send them to that new colony! Ehh, what was it called again...Australia or somethin' like that?"

My heart instantly dropped. No. No no no no no! I cannot go there! I've heard stories about this place they call Australia, it's where the very bad criminals go, or the folk that didn't pay their taxes on time. It wasn't a place for a scrawny girl who stole apples!

"Are you crazy Charles? These girls can't be more than 16 years old, and for what, stealing a bloody apple? You must be out of your minds!" Williams said, slamming down his hat on the table behind him.

"Look Williams, it's my job as a constable to make sure that I put away those who cause trouble in the streets of London. If I hadn't taken these two in, they could've stirred up more trouble. Maybe stealing an apple turns into stealing the Queen's Crown!" Charles said, pulling us harshly so that he can write our names in the books.

"But Charles, they're just kids! Have a heart! You can't just send them there when they have a life to live!" Williams said solemnly, shaking his head. I wanted to tell him to get his act together. I absolutely hated people who pitied me (Getting all the stares of sadness from strangers as I grew up, who could blame me?)

At first, I thought I saw something flash through Charles eyes, but as quick as it was there, it was gone. He let go of me and Grace and told us to stay put. He then pulled Williams aside and talked to him in a very low voice. After a good ten minutes of them bickering, they both came back, neither looking happy.

"It has been decided that by next week, both of you shall be shipped off to Australia, where you shall stay in the penal estate of Sydney Cove*. For now, until that week, both of you shall be staying in that cell over there, which is usually kept for those who only stay for a couple of days." Williams said, a sad look still grazing his lips. I could barely understand the words that came from his mouth. I only registered what was happening when I felt Charles grab Grace and I roughly by the shoulders.
He pushed us into the cell and locked the door.

(The following segment is what happens when Charles and William Speak. Third P.O.V)

"Williams, I didn't want to admit this out loud, but I'm trying to do this for their own good" Charles said, keeping his voice low so that Grace and Scarlet wouldn't hear.

"Charles, how is going to a penal colony going to be better for them?" Williams said, unable to comprehend the matter at hand.

"You haven't seen it, but I've seen what they're life was like when I was chasing both of them. One of them was eating an apple in a foul alley, wearing nothing but a ragged dress, probably something she found in the garbage. I was thinking that if they went to Australia that once they both finish serving their own time there, life would be better for them." Charles said, casting his eyes down, thinking about the trash that littered the floor of the alley.

"Charles, even if they survive the trip there and there terms, they would have to live a life always being regarded as criminals-"

"At least they'll have a chance to live at all!" Charles said, trying his best for his voice not to rise.
Williams then looked straight at Charles and said,

"I hope you know what you're doing Charles." They then quickly turned back to the two girls who were still surprisingly standing there, waiting to hear face their fates.

A/N:
*Sydney Cove was listed as one of the penal Colonies in Australia.

Okay, so all though this chapter was relatively short and very late, I didn't have a lot of time to write it sadly. I had another story I was working on, and my mother signed me up for swimming lessons…..Please forgive me! Next chapter, I'll try my best to upload on time.

Please Review, any grammar mistakes, what I should/shouldn't do, if you liked it or not, spelling issues, etc.! Again, I'll try to write the next chapter as soon as I can!
