We got to school 15 minutes before it started. I didn't have much time to do what I needed. First I needed to go change into my school clothing before someone thought I was a poor person who sneaked into the extravagant school and I also needed to see all of my teachers and get my schoolwork for the day. I quietly sunk around the school, I almost made it into the bathroom when I ran into somebody.

"Ouch" I said as I fell backwards and landed on my back. "The hell was that?" I asked aggravated. I sat up straight and saw that I ran into one of my best guy friends Josh.

"God Josh, you scared me!"

He didn't even move when I ran into him. He was a muscular boy with brown hair and bright green eyes. We have been friend since birth; we've done everything together. I hated to admit it but I had a crush on him, he was just so nice!

"Coming back from dance?" He asked raising his eyebrow. I just looked him straight in the eyes and gave him the death stare. He helped me off the floor and pushed me into the bathroom.

"See ya soon Josh!" I hollered after him. I waited for no response, I got into the stall and started ripping off all of my clothing. I pulled out my phone to check the time; 7:25. Five minutes before school started. Everything was back in my bag and I stepped out of the stall. My black and white striped button down shirt fit me perfectly and the bright pink pants made it pop. Why I chose high-heels, I have no idea but I did. I always was known as the girl who had the different stand-out style. That's just how Cher and I roll though. The halls were deserted, if anyone was in the hallway they were scrambling to get to their class. I hurried my pace. Right as I walked through the door my teacher started talking. I walked back to my desk trying not to make a big commotion. Class started and I continued my daily thing, I pulled out my phone and texted Cher. We were pros at this, no need to worry. *Hey Cher! Okay..I'll tell you now if you want to know about this morning. -Emily* I waited only a few seconds before she texted me back. *OoOoh! Yes! – Cher* Looking up from my phone I made sure that my teacher was still teaching, he was but other kids were being distracted by what I was doing. I was getting ready to text back Cher then all of the sudden my phone locked up. I tried unlocking it but didn't get the password right. I sat back in my seat and thought for a minute. My mom must have gotten on my computer went on icloud and locked my phone. Oh well…I'll ask her to unlock it after I do my second dance practice. The rest of the class time I sat actually taking notes. Math was a subject that I struggled with and didn't know how to do it, no matter how hard I tried or how many nights I tutored it didn't work. The hellhole class was finally released. Two more hours to go until I was free and then back in hell again. School was getting a lot more stressful, finals were coming up soo and I knew I needed to do good to pass and continue into senior year. Then again dance was also getting tougher and my mother, , and everyone at the dance studio expected me to succeed and become professional. On my way to maths I bumped into Cher.

"Did you get caught or something!" Cher said with a worried expression.

I laughed at her question. I was surprised she didn't guess it was my mom..thought she knew me better.

"No, it was my mother! She got on my computer and locked my phone." I said rolling my eyes. I looked at the clock not wanting to be late to maths.

"Well I'm going to go. Don't want my math teacher to get mad. See ya at dance!" I said sweetly to her. We both parted. I was looking forward to maths because Josh was in that class, we sat next to each other actually. When I got to math Josh was already sitting down looking as bored as ever. I hurried to my seat and sat down next to him.

"Heyo!" I yelled in his ear. He jumped and looked annoyed. My face wrinkled up in confusion.

"Emily, don't. Im not in the mood." He replied sulkily.

"Whats wrong?" You seemed fine this morning." I said eagerly with concern. He shooed me away and turned to the front. Ouch, that hurt.

"Well text me later if you wanna talk." I whispered to him. Class started, 20 more minutes till I get called out. I sat there for what felt like forever, I didn't even understand the material. The clock finally turned 12:00 and I was set free. Before I left my teacher made an announcement.

"Emily before you go, finals will be next week as you all know" a wave of groans washed over the classroom, "don't be too excited guys. We will be taking the test on Tuesday at 11:45 am. Be there!" He pointed to me as I left the room. As usual the hallways were empty. I saw Cher's figure turn the corner to go to the main office, I wasn't going to try to catch up with her though.

"Time to stretch ladies!" said in her stern voice. Like this morning, we all went to our places and stretched. Before you stretch you're supposed to have your ballet shoes on…no one ever did so we all did it while back was turned.

"Cher, what happened this morning was she basically told me to get it together or I wouldn't be able to perform." Annoyance came out with that sentence. Cher looked up to me,

"You actually seemed really pissed about this." She said standing up.

"Yeah! Things are getting too stressful for me to handle. Between school and dance, I don't know what to do with myself! Im falling behind in school because of dance but then again Im falling behind in dance because of school!" I was flustered, my hands rested on my hips. Cher patted me on the shoulder and told me everything would be okay. For some reason I doubted what she said.
