With God's Loving Hands

This is for all of you who believe in Him. Whatever may happen, please keep on striving for the best because God will always be there to help you.

Everybody knows the story of the guy who cuts off some parts of his cross to be able to lighten the burden but in the end, he was not able to cross the cliff because his own cross was too short to be his bridge. Here is my version of the continuation.

I really don't know the name of this man so I am just calling him Chris for now.

Chris was frustrated to see that he will not be able to reach the other side but he did not give up. He placed half of his cross on the edge and balanced it so it would not fall. He ran and stepped on the cross so it would shorten the gap. He jumped with all his might and luckily his hand caught onto the edge of the other cliff. He was so close to the other side.

"Just a little more, Lord! Wait for me!" he said to himself. Chris tried to pull himself up but there was someone who held onto his leg that kept on pulling him down.

"Come down with us! This is your fate. Accept it! What makes you think He will be there to save you? What makes you think you're special?" the people in the shadows shouted.

Chris kept hanging onto the edge and cried, "Lord God, I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I'd do it all over again just for you. Without cutting it! Please save me!" A cross from heaven fell from the heavens and stopped the shadows from pulling him down.

"That is the cross that you will carry again. You need to retrieve it if you want to start again," God said. Chris became indecisive. He was so close to the other side but he promised God he would do it all over again. He took a pause and breathed. Chris let go of the edge and jumped into the shadows. Before he vanished into the darkness, a hand took hold of him.

"I would never let such a repentant being go into despair," God said.

"Thank You, Lord!" Chris cried and he was taken to the other side with the Lord.

Hang onto your faith and let your desires go because God will be there to hold you and guide you. He won't let you be pulled down by laziness, challenges and problems.
