The sound echoes, A dark figure walks outward. He walks along a row of desks becoming clearer the farther out he walked.

"Now does anyone remember what we were going to be talking about today?" The teacher asks the class.

A girl with short reddish brown hair raises her hand.

"Yes, Ms. Kari," The teacher points to the girl.

"The virus "Love Machine," Kari answers.

"And what is it Mary?" The teacher turns to a girl with long blue hair tied in a pony tail.

"A retro virus designed by the Arab Caliphate to prey on supposed sexual deviance in the western population," Mary replied.

"And how did it work on the human body Alice," The Teacher stands with his back turned and pause but get no answer, "…Alice?"

He turns to find a sleeping Japanese girl with drool running down her cheek.

"Arisu get up," Kari taps the girl on the back.

Arisu opens her eyes, sits up and wipes the drool from her lip. "What is it?"

"Nice to see you're among the living," The teacher remarks, "Answer the question.

Arisu looks around the confusingly. She spots a secret note Kari made. "Yes, What effect the love machine virus had on the human body."

"Given what your father does this should be easy for you." The teacher smirks.

Arisu glares at him for that remark,

"What?" The teacher snaps.

"I'm keeping quiet it don't want to get sent to the principal's office," Arisu replied.

"Come please," The teacher starts to get irritated.

"Mary, could you tell him?" Arisu asks the girl in front of her.

"I'm not getting in the middle of this," Mary replied.

"Kari, you know what I'm talking about right?" Arisu turns around and asks.

"Okay," Kari sighs and turns to the teacher, "Sir, what you did was extremely inappropriate."

The class laughs,

"Uhg never mind just answer the question," The teacher walks over to his desk to get an antacid.

"The virus was a form of STD transmittal though body fluids, Once in the body it would affect the brain and umm… sexual organs of the victims. Basically the virus would infect someone and cause them to do things that would make them have babies."

"More or less," The teacher replied, "People where calling Love Machine a perfect virus. It would cause the victims to take action that they normally wouldn't like have intercourse with strangers or even rape. The Arab Caliphate released the virus believing their morality would stop the virus from affecting them. But when their women became infected and started having uncontrolled sex they were stoned to death for adultery well the men where left unharmed allowing them to have sex with more women who became infected and they too were stoned for adultery. This became known to some as the Second Witch Trials. The middle east soon became the first area to fall because of the virus. Who can tell us the second reason Love Machine is called the perfect virus?"

"That simple," Arisu leans back in her chair, "STDs are spread from mother to child. By causing the host to take actions that would get themselves pregnant the virus makes new hosts that it could grow in."

"Yes," The teacher continued, "These children where called second generation infected. Being a child conceived in an infected host the virus could manipulate the embryo from the moment of conception at an genetic level. The virus turns the child into an almost perfect breeding machine. Mentally retarded with a high sex drive able to conceive it's own children at the age of eight and give birth after only six months. The third generation grew even faster and could conceive a year after being born and have turn cannibal. Most countries knew of this problem and could have avoided what happened next by simply killing all the infected. But again morality became their down fall. Many thought it was wrong to kill the infected even taking efforts to stop their ability to have children were wrong. But some places like this city acted in time. As the rest of the world collapsed we fought to live."

"The zombie apocalypse came in a whimper not a bang," Kari remarks.

"After a hundred years a vaccine for the virus was made using nano machines," The teacher tells the class, "The nano machines boosted the immune system of the body unlocking the psychic powers of the human body. Anyone injected with these nano machines where basically sterile only able to conceive children if they willed them selves to. Also a good chunk of the those injected show signs of psychic mutation where they display almost magical powers. That was fifty years, to this day anyone who leaves Castle City on foot risk getting attacked by the infected what we that still roam the country side."

The bell rings and all the children stand up and walk out of the room.

The next class was gym. The girls stood on one side of the gymnasium when a blond hair boy walks up to them.

"Hey Rider," Kari waves with a smile.

The gym coach blows his whistle, "Okay today we are playing dodge ball."

"Oh man," Both Rider and Mary groan.

"Heck yeah," Arisu pounds on hand together.

"Why are you so happy?" Mary asks, "Every time we play dodge ball you get smacked in the face."

"Why is that," Rider adds.

"Karma," Kari smiles, "Arisu isn't the best…"

"I told Eric and his friends I'd pay them five bucks to hit me in the face every time they have a ball," Arisu interrupts, "Keeps me out of gym for the rest of class."

"….Human being," Kari finished.

"I'm not have you guys hit me," Arisu, "For your sake if found out."

"Go!" The coach shouts.

*Biish king!* A ball bounces off of Arisu's face.

"Balls to the face can't be good for the complexion," Mary remarks.

"Your vernacular is to be desired," Kari remarks.

"Dude, I like you just not in that way," Arisu replied, "Just don't say a disturbing comment like that in public."

"Swing and a miss," Kari smirks.

"Are you going to be okay?" The coach runs up and asks.

"I feel dizzy," Arisu tells him

"You should take some rest at the nurse's office," The coach suggested.

"I'll escort her," Rider raises his hand.

"Every well," The coach agreed.

Arisu and Rider walk off together.

"And you shall pay," Mary picks up a ball. A floating blue ring appears around the ball. She tosses it. When the ball hit one of the boys it explodes in blue light knocking him back. Snow starts falling in the room. "Didn't know I could do that?"

"Ms. Mallet to the principal's office," The coach shouts.

"Aw man," Mary groans.
