Love,
Unexpected and pure,
Catches you in its golden net,
Of sugar and sacrifice.

Sneaks up behind you,
And surprises you,
At the strangest of moments.
Love,
Passionate and cruel,
Creates bonds,
And promises.
Love,
Run by forces unseen, unheard,
Aphrodite and her son, shooting at us randomly,
With blindfolds covering enchanting eyes.
Love,
Like the stars,
Shines so bright,
Oozing heavenly light,
It will always be with you,
Like it's always been with me.
