Episode2: A Lead

[Continuing from the last episode]

Kazuka: You wanted to see us headmaster-sama?

Narasashi: You are a rank even higher than I am now, so it's not often that I have to call upon you two.

Nerissa: So there's something that we'd have to take care of this time?

Narasashi: Yes, it involves something that was recently discovered in the uncharted region of the world.

Kazuka: (thinking) The uncharted region? When did they start searching that area out?

Narasashi: Upon searching the area, we have discovered a temple there. Translating some of the writing on the outside of it, we have discovered that it has something to do with the bloodlust syndrome…

Kazuka and Nerissa: What?

Narasashi: Yes. This newly discovered building is known as the temple of bloodlust.

Nerissa: The temple of bloodlust? I've never heard of that before…

Narasashi: Neither has anyone in any academy. As it clearly says the word "bloodlust", we'd like for you two to investigate it.

Kazuka: I understand headmaster-sama. This may be the means of eliminating the bloodlust syndrome within us…

Narasashi: Feel free to have others accompany you during your investigation. As you are of a very high rank, you have more freedom with your missions provided that they aren't time sensitive…

Nerissa: We fully understand headmaster-sama.

Kazuka: We'll make our preparations and begin investigations tomorrow.

Narasashi: Lastly, you are to report all your findings to the president herself. This has piqued her curiosity as well.

Kazuka: (thinking) I see… grandma is interested because it may free her from it too… (speaking) Understood headmaster-sama.

Narasashi: With all of that in order, I'd also like to arrange an airship for your travel. Please send in our secretary on your way out. You are dismissed! (Kazuka bows while Nerissa curtseys and they both leave)

[Outside the office]

Luanna: I see, so this may lead to a means to eliminate the syndrome. Well then, I should go see the headmaster. He has summoned me after all.

Nerissa: Mom, do you believe that there really is a way to remove the decay effect?

Kazuka: She's right, grandma has been looking for 60 years… There's no guarantee that this may give us a lead.

Luanna: I believe that it would at least give us more insight on the syndrome. Besides, my daughter and future son-in-law should have a little more faith than that.

Nerissa: (shocked) Mom!

Luanna: What? I told you before that I wanted you to marry Kazuka…(she walks off)

Nerissa: (her face gets red) Still, it's embarrassing for you to say that!

Kazuka: (sighs) Even she has a joke side to her… (thinking) Still, imo-san and I have been acting a bit like a married couple recently…

Nerissa: (grabbing Kazuka's arm) We should go let the others know onii-chan…

Kazuka: Yeah, we'll be taking some of them with us anyway…

Both: (thinking as they walk off arm in arm) Still, the thought of being married is a little tempting though… (they begin to hold hands as well)

With this new temple in effect, things may finally be solved entirely…

Author's note: Glad to be back for a new run huh? However, this is the after story of Magia. As such, Magia Revelations won't be nearly as long as Magia. But it will cover left over details and questions that may have been formed from Magia (if you read the first installment), so expect this to be more of an ending kind of thing for Kazuka and Nerissa's adventures. Though it's not just about them, they're the main focus at this point. Besides, they have to have all previous problems solved before they can become more of a true couple right? At any rate, enjoy what may be the last of the Magia storyline!
