I hope there comes a moment where you stop to rest

When time itself stops so that it may take a breath

For in that sweet second, Farther Time will pull back the hand

To the place where I am in your arms as together we stand

The sky smoldering in your eyes burning into mine

The fate of me, the fate of you, once to intertwine

A smile from you, from lips that were once so sweet

The kind utters you gave to me are hard now to believe

Father Time, freeze me in the moment our love was pure

So I don't have to see sickness cause my heart no cure

I want to be back in the field, dancing with you once more

Walking with you, to the sunset lighting the sky on the shore

Think of me, when from your journey you take a short break

My love, do not hesitate to think that our love was mistake
