I was just looking out my window and got inspiration for this poem. Doesn't rhyme, sorry.

A girl stands in front of my house

She's staring at my butterfly bush

Only moths are visiting it.

The wind taste of the sweet surprise of rain

The girl pays no attention to it

The ground is cracked, waiting for the downpour

I wonder how she can let her soft feet touch such earth

Suddenly, a single drop, like a crystal

Lands upon the girl's forehead.

The girl pays no attention to it

The drop trails down her face

Tracing her milky complexion

Just like one liquid finger

She follows a moth with her eyes

Green stalking grey

The drop touches the top of the side of her left lip

Finally, she wipes it away.

Acting like she pays no attention to it

I look away.
