Red is a poppy, bright like blood

Red is a rose, both of love and hate

Red is temptation, as an apple is red

Red is a cherry, dangerously sweet

Red is her clothes, bold and daring

Red is desire, betraying and controlling

Red is her nails, dancing on metal

Red is her hair, long and stright

Red are her heels, long and skinny

Red is the lace, a border on thin silk

Red is her blood, spilled over the floor

Red is of death, the colour of Set.

A/N: Another colour poem. It's about a prostitute, and how she just couldn't handle how messed up her life was. So of course, she took the easy way out.
