Yesterday, you were alive
and immortality appeared
to be on your side. Who
knew you would die
the next day? Today
you quietly slipped
away before dawn
drew her first breath.
With wings that carried
you out of your mother's
womb, you flew to heaven.
Bittersweet, love and life can
coexist together even in death.
