A/N ~ This isn't a dark poem, but I made this for a competition, and thought 'Hey! Why not post it here?' Anyway, it had to be a poem on boredom, so yeah. Enjoy!
Just the Same Old Thing
It's just the small old thing
The same old screams
Nothing ever changes
A stab here,
A stab there
Nothing ever changes
Life of a so-called crime
Is oh-so boring
You think everyday is a blast
But that feeling will likely come last
It's just the same old thing
The same old screams
This life isn't wonderful
To be honest,
It's a bit dreadful
I thought the joy of killing
Would be amazing
But it's just the same old thing
The same old screams
It gets boring
And I never get that feeling
As if I am soaring
Maybe I should move on
Seeing as though everything I do
Is wrong
Maybe the same old thing
And same old screams
Are not worth my time
Yes, yes
They aren't worth my time
The only thing that can now be done
Is to pack up my bags and run
Run from the same old thing
The same old screams
Because nothing ever changed
Nothing ever changed
