"The Valley"

Series: An Element of Writer's Block

Follow the sun to the bending grass

Between the mountains through the pass

A songbird sings his tone so sweet

Listens the traveler with weary feet

Once in the valley there is no return

This is the home which you will learn

Follow the river to the valley of hope

Flowers and beauty may help you cope

Rest your eyes upon the angel of cure

It stings as winter winds begin to stir

Once in the valley there is no return

This is the home which you will learn

Follow the clouds to the valley of death

Dead willows threaten to steal your breath

Pay no attention and do not fear

For only time will make it clear

Once in the valley there is no return

This is the home which you will learn

Thanks for reading!

This was originally only 1 stanza but I thought it needed more added on before publishing.
