Reflecting Visage
A presence always sends ripples running across the water's surface
Disturbing the image of Heaven it holds close
We are able to touch the skies for its generosity
Cold and clear
Embracing and universal, yet unique
The sky defines the face
The day, the identity
The world paints the visage
We see and may touch
But to touch is to send a ripple
Obscuring features and the words of a picture
Looking at the Heavens
Made in God's image
Humanity's face is a subtle water
Always reflecting.
