I wanted to be a source of comfort,
but you rejected my support. I was
available for you twenty four seven,
but you didn't make my heart to be
your safe haven. I thought God would
send me down a miracle meaning you,
my friend. You promised to always stay
true to me and yet you turned out to be
rogue in the end. I don't know how much
longer that I can wait for you to come around.
Precious, life is just too short for us to be playing
mind games. All of this distance between us speaks
volumes to me. Wise, I am now smart enough to know
when to keep holding onto you or let go. Loosening the
reins, I am learning to forget about you because you are
not worth my time.
