I wrote this poem after I had a huge fight with my boyfriend. It was my fault. But do not despair! We fixed it, and we are okay again. Note: I know the third verse refers to Cutting. But I do not Cut, and I never have, nor ever will. My whole heart and all my love goes out to the people who think Cutting as an answer to their problems. I wish I could help them have more happiness

Mirror of Trust
You put your trust in me.
And I failed you. I made a mistake.
I don't deny it, but I wish I could change it.
You gave me the mirror of your trust.
I broke it.
I shattered my own heart, and broke the glass into irreplaceable pieces.
I can't forgive myself. You won't forgive me.
The pieces will never be repaired. We will never be the same.
My love for you is all that remains.
You game me the mirror of your trust.
I broke it.
I shattered my own heart, and broke the glass into irreplaceable pieces.
Irreplaceable pieces, all over the floor.
I try to pick them up, but all it does is cut my skin.
My blood and tears well up on the floor.
But you're miles away from my door.
You game me the mirror of your trust.
I broke it.
I shattered my own heart, and broke the glass into irreplaceable pieces.
Shattered, shattered on the floor.
I don't have anything left, except irreplaceable pieces.
