Prologue

There is a tale that has been sung, oh so many times,

its shades and complications are second to none.

It is sorrowful, it is hopeful,

it is a story of the greatest rebirth of all time.

Far, far away in a land where once there was no fear,

three magnificent cities stood proud;

Clovern, Carnelian, and Moonrosa

one of peace, one of pride, one of dignity.

Alliance meant exclusion.

It brought fear and anger, when two cities met

without inviting the third.

And so it was when Clovern and Moonrosa came together

Carnelian was filled with displeasure.
