Here is chapter 2 and i hope you guys like it(:

and thanks to everyone who review the last chapter.

Later that day when I woke up (around 9 a.m.), I was having a head ache… probably because I didn't get much sleep, which was bad because I had to meet with my friend Alyson during her break at 11:30 a.m.

I knew I had to get out of my house now, if I wanted to be on time. So I grabbed my purse and my book and drove to the nearest Starbucks and got my "Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino" and a double chocolate brownie.

Gosh! I really love chocolate.

I sat down in one of the sofas available and pull out my book. It wasn't long before my phone started ringing… I pulled out of my purse and saw that I was Alyson.

"Hey Aly!" I said.

"Christine! Where are you?" she asked excited.

"Why?" I question.

"Just tell me!" she demanded.

"You're planning something… aren't you?... anyways I'm at Starbucks," I replied.

"The one that's like… 10 minutes away from your house?" she asked.

"Yes," I said.

"Okay! I'll be there in 10," she exclaimed and hung up.

"Well… now that was weird," I said to myself.

I returned to my reading and waited for Alyson to show up.

A few minutes later Alyson came in and practically pushed everyone out of her way.

"Christy!" she exclaimed sitting next to me.

"You are really happy about something… should I be worried?" I asked.

"No! you should be happy too… Well once I tell you, you probably will be happy… but there's also the chance that you might hate me," she explained.

"Why would I ever hate you?" I asked confused.

"Well… remember how you said that you didn't want to know anything about your past life?" Alyson asked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked even more confused.

"You know… New York, Broadway musicals… you singing in a few of them," she explained hesitantly.

"Yes… what about that?" I asked worried, ever since I told Alyson the reason I stopped singing in Broadway and why I moved to the other side of the country she never brought it up, in the last year and a half.

"Well… David—your agent or ex-agent… called me and he…" she started. "He asked me to… tell you that he wants to talk you".

"How did he even get your number?" I asked.

"I don't know about that, but he said that it is really important for you to call him," Alyson insisted.

"Do you know why?" I asked.

"Well… he did mention something… but you have to call him," she said.

"Maybe I will… if you tell me what this is about," I replied.

"Uh—fine I'll tell you… but you have to act surprised when he tells you about it," she said firmly.

"I can do that," I replied smiling.

"You know Alexander Evans, right?" she asked.

"Of course I do… he's like one of the most famous singer right now," I said. "But what does he have to do with all this?"

"Well… you how his birthday is next month?" she asked.

"No… but I know now…" I said. "But can you stop asking questions and go to the point".

"Alright… well he is having this big party and can you guess what the theme is going to be?"

I shocked my head. "No".

"Broadway! And he wants a real Broadway cast to be there… and he knows one of David's friends and he told him to tell David about that… and he did and so David called him and Alexander told David that he wanted 'the girl that has the same name as the chick in the phantom of the opera' to be there… that's what he said, I'm not making it up," she explained.

"That's something you don't hear every day…" I said.

"But are you going to call him?" she asked.

"I don't know… I mean I don't want to go there alone, if only there was someone who could go with me… I might call him," I replied shrugging.

"I can go with you!" she yelled making everyone else in there to look at us. "That is if you want me to go with you".

"Of course I would want you to come with me… but first I have to talk to David," I said. "Which is something I'll probably do tonight".

"Alright… now we can go and have breakfast… I'm starving!' she exclaimed as she stood up and started walking towards the door with me following her lead.

"Talking about that… what are you doing here?" I asked. "Is not even 11 yet".

"I know that… but I told Mr. Gomez that I had an emergency… which is true… well kind of," she said. "This is definitely an emergency".

"Yeah right," I said rolling my eyes.

"We should go to your house first… so you can leave your car," she said. "Then we can go to have breakfast".

"And do you happen to know where you want to go to have breakfast," I asked.

"Well… I was thinking about Denny's… that's a good place to have breakfast, don't you think?" she asked walking towards her car.

"Sure!" I said as I got into my car.

I waited for Aly to leave before I started my car and I couldn't help thinking about what Aly told me… the last time I was in New York City was almost a year ago and I don't know if I can go back at least not yet, even though that's where I was born and I know I should go back.

As soon as I got to my house I saw Aly waiting for me.

"What took you so long?" she asked once I opened the passenger door of her car.

"I'm not in a hurry so…" I said shrugging.

"Well… you might not be in a hurry but I am starving," she said.

"Sorry," I replied.

"Aren't you hungry?" she asked.

"Not really…" I replied.

"What time did you go to sleep?" she asked.

"I don't know… but I was probably somewhere near 2 a.m." I replied shrugging.

"What were you doing?" she asked. "I understand you're not working right now… but seriously… what were you doing?"

"I was reading a book…" I said which was half true. I was going to tell anyone I was talking to some random stranger on the phone in the middle of the night, at least not yet.

"I don't get what's with you and reading books until that late," she said.

"It's a good book," I replied simply.

"If it kept you up until 2 in the morning… then it must be a good book," she stated.

I simply smiled and shrugged.

"Anyways… here we are… Denny's the heaven of pancakes," she said as we got out of her car.

"Really?" I asked laughing.

"What? They are really good," she defended herself as we walked in.

"I know," I replied.

"Good," she said turning to the hostess. "Table for two".

"Alright," she replied grabbing the menus. "This way please".

"Did you know that Andrew works here?" she asked in a whisper.

"Is that why you wanted to come here?" I asked also whispering.

"Here we are," the hostess said. "Someone will be with you in a minute".

As soon as she was gone Aly said. "Not really".

"Right…" I said rolling my eyes. "Do you still like him?"

"No," she said.

"Is okay if you still do…" I said.

"I know… but I don't like him anymore… he's my ex and that's all there is to it," she said calmly.

I was about to say something but my phone started ring.

"Do you mind?" I asked Aly holding my phone up.

"No… go ahead," she replied as she grabbed one of the menus.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello Red," someone said… and I knew exactly who that someone was, even though I didn't expect him to call me again.
