On Wednesday, Mike has dinner at Tom and Valerie's house. They have ribs and homemade fries. The ribs are good. Valerie looks great.
The next day, Tom and Mike go hiking in the mountains. The sun climbs high as they walk.
At high noon, they stop for lunch. Tom sits close to Mike.
"Your wife cooks well," Tom says.
"Yes, she does," Mike replies.
Tom pulls a gun from his jacket and shoots Mike.
"My wife, now," Tom says.
