the winter king in all his glory.
close the shutters and bolt the doors,
his majesty visits tonight.
he looks for children out of their beds,
and women all alone in the dark.
close the shutters and hold them close,
his majesty visits tonight.
they say your tears will freeze on your cheeks,
and your lips will be blue as you scream.
close the shutters and stoke the fire,
his majesty visits tonight.
if you hear a knock, knock on the door,
then crawl quickly under the bed.
close the shutters and pray for mercy,
his majesty visits tonight.
