Thousands upon thousands die every year

From this menace unseen

Someone close to you has it,and you feel an indescribable sense of fear

That they won't survive their encounter with this fiend

It's worse when it strikes close to home

Be it a close friend or a beloved family member

Sometimes it's like your all alone

And saying goodbye to them forever

Tears are hard to keep at bay

But you have to try

Just keep hoping and pray

That you won't ever have to say

goodbye.
