Friday, September 9th, 2011: Brooke's POV
As I walked out of school, I couldn't wait to get home, away from this hell hole. My name is Brooke Haute, I'm a 16 year old junior at a hell of a high school. I'm about 5'4" with dirty blond hair, brown eyes, and a little bit of acne. My best friend is Aradia Aber. My high school isn't very large, it's about medium and three stories, but it has a large amount of bullies. Aradia and I are the main targets. Everyday since the second grade we've dealt with them. But we won't in May of this school year. I don't know whose idea it really was to do this, but it came as what we viewed as the only solution. We called it JD, short for Judgment Day.
As I thought over everything, I felt a sharp hand grab me. "Heya loser," a voice said. I heard a few laughs.
"Go away Jacob," I said lowly. It was Jacob Fitch. He was tall, stuck up, and stupid with short black hair and dark brown eyes.
"What was that freak?" he said as he slammed me into the wall. "Go what?" More people laughed and watched with interest.
"I said to go away you idiot," I fumed. He grabbed tighter on my shirt.
"You need to learn some fuckin' respect," he hissed. "I'll teach you it." He lifted me up off the ground by my collar.
"Jacob, leave her alone!" someone shouted. I looked past Jacob and saw Aradia standing on the sidewalk looking pissed.
"Ah, the freak's freaky girlfriend," Jacob laughed as he dropped me. I got up, walked over, and flipped Jacob off. "Why don't you do the whole school a favor and kill yourselves, look a bus is coming," he said looking at us both. We didn't say anything.
"Seriously, Jacob, shut the hell up," someone from the crowd shouted. I looked over and it was Serenity Hub.
"What the fuck is your problem?" she asked him. Serenity is a cheerleader but kind to everyone.
"I just think they should do us a favor," Jacob replied. Everyone who was laughing before was now just watching quietly.
"How about you do us a favor and go shower for once, I can smell you from all the way over here," she said. Jacob fumed red and walked off. But first he took care to make sure he shoved me and Aradia. We got up and walked back to my house. My mom was at work and my dad was at his house, they were divorced. I threw my book bag down and looked at her. "We still going 'shopping' this weekend?" I asked.
"Fuck yeah," she said. "I didn't get so overly happy that I turned 18 last weekend for nothing." Aradia was held back a year because she couldn't afford summer school for math and science, the two combined were 400 dollars.
"Awesome," I smirked.
Saturday, September 10th, 2011: "Shopping" Brooke's POV
Aradia drove us to the mall. Our first thing was to buy what we were going to wear. We walked into one store to look at shirts. I got a black one that said "Vengeance" on it in blue and she got a black one that said "Anger" on it in dark red. We already had our pants and shoes at home. Aradia and I paid separately so they wouldn't be like "What the fuck?" We walked into another store and bought two black trench coats. After, we went back to the car and drove to one sporting goods store. Aradia bought two shotguns at the back section; fuse and a fair amount of gun powder at the front. Then we drove to the gun store across town and I waited inside the car this time. When she came out, she had a handgun and some ammo for our three guns. "Let's head to the hardware store before it closes," I suggested. We drove across town again and we bought some pipes while I hid the pipe heads in my hoodie. In the parking lot, Aradia pulled out a camcorder."Hiya," she said. "Welcome to 'What you definitely should not do on your free time.'"
She flashed the camcorder towards me and I waved. "That's Brooke," she informed as she gave me the signal to show what we had. I picked up the first shotgun. "This is our first twelve gauge pump action shotgun," I said as I held it up. I put it down and picked up the second one. "This is our second 12 gauge pump action shotgun," I said as I held up the second gun. I put down the shotgun and picked up the handgun. "Our handgun," I said. "And ammo."
I put them down ad picked up the pipe, heads, fuse, and gun powder. "For our bombs," I said and I looked at Aradia. She seemed pleased. "This what you should never ever do on your free time," we said together. Aradia ended the recording.
