What happened to the light?

Has age ripened its height?

Have our days of innocence gone,

Obscured by our wrongs?

Are the faults laid on us,

For betraying his trust?

Did our harsh words cut much too deep?

Sending him to sleep

By killing ours we killed him as well,

All we can do is let the wounds swell.
