Words Can't Describe

Nothing I can say
Can do justice
Nothing I conjure
Is able to convey

My words are insufficient
In being able to describe
Nothing I can say or do
Will be able to express this vibe

That I feel

I always think that ink
Could help me form the words
But it's never enough
They're just not the right chords

The closest I've ever gotten
Does not soar high enough
The rungs continue on and on
My sight does not see that far

An endless track
In a circle
All I can do is run around
But I keep rotating, never getting anywhere

There is a mountain
That reaches into the clouds
Looking for something behind them
But only finding more empty sky
