on the theater of war's stages.

Futile resistance

fuled by officers persistance.

The first boats land ,

death is at hand.

Shells, mortars and rockets

flying in the air ;

Blasting the beaches

to God knows where.

"We'll start the war here,"

good brigader Roosevelt said

and those who started it ended it and the war is dead.
