I may have won the battle, but the war is far from the end. They may seem defeated, but our job is far from over.

The ground may be ridden with blood,
But the fight is not over.
Their armies may be driven into the mud,
but they are far from surrender.
Many more battles we will see;
Even more dead we will bury.
Eventually, we will have their city,
But it will take our time and determination.
We cannot see this battle as their final destruction.
We must continue on, our duty is not done.
This battle I have won,
But the war has just begun.
