Puncture
I think I'm scared of life. I know I'm scared of living.
But it ain't on my face that the fear is written,
hiding from myself, I'm a former villain.
Can't be trusted with the wealth of my soul.
And it doesn't matter how much respect I'm given.
I can't hold it in, I try, it just ain't filling.
I can't give it back despite the fact that I'm willing.
I'm punctured and I'll never be whole.
