We need to fight for our rights, but it's often difficult to do so, especially when we are not always told the truth.

Standing for Truth

We seek security

And put our faith in

A source that feeds us

The wrong information

How are we supposed

To run a safe life

When we don't even know

What happens at night?

What are we to do

Should we stand here

And take this?

Or raise hell

For the corporations

That continue to break us!

Nay sayers

Mind swayers

Spirit shakers

Voice takers

Will you let them manipulate you,

Abuse your ignorance,

And incriminate you?

Or will you stand firm,

Defend what is just,

'Till the day your body

Decomposes to dust?

Why do we put our trust

In a system that deceives us?

That tell us what they want us to hear

But never the truth of what we bear

When will this stop?

When will we open our eyes

Can we find light

In the things monopolized?
