Surprisingly enough, teaming up with these two actually made fighting monsters easier and we soon found that all of us could complete harder quests that we ever could before, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. Eventually, this though had just about driven me mad so I decided to ask their opinion:

"Hey, guys?"

"hmm?"

I could tell from her voice that rose was paying less attention to me than she was to bear's arm which she was currently twisting at strange angles behind his back, nice to see how she ranks her priorities.

"Rose!"

This made her sigh, but at least she decided to give me her full attention, and stop pinning bear to the floor with her knees.

"Yeeees?"

There she goes again, the pouty little kid act, probably best to ignore this though, emotional manipulation is a key tool for a thief but what can I say? This girl is insanely good at her job and I could barely look at her for a minute before having to turn away if I wanted to keep my train of though.

"Don't you think that our team is missing something? I mean, we were almost completely wiped out by the two headed ogre the other day and it's only a level 20 boss!"

The camp fell silent then as they considered my idea so I decided that it was safe to turn back to face them. Rose was sat on a stump by my foot (Jesus, how quiet is that girl?) and had a serious look on her face, for once in her life, with her head on her hand and her lips pursed. On the other hand, Bear just looked … clueless, there is just no other word for it, but I'm beginning to think that, that gormless expression is the only one he can pull… still, at least one of them is thinking about this seriously.

"Well, normally in a team you have 6 members, so we are obviously missing some people Aurora, but what I think your getting at is that we need a healer if we are ever going to get past the low level monsters!"

Yeah, that must be right, if we had a healer to support us, it would be easy to kill of weaker monsters without too much hassle, and it means we wouldn't have to keep going to rest spots between missions as well.

"Sure, but where would we find someone willing to be our team mate? Before I met you, I had only seen 3 other people in the whole time I was playing and healers are hard to come by in the best of times?"

As soon as these words left my lips, I was certain that I had secured my spot as an idiot in this little girl's mind, and to make matters worse, even bear, the one who managed to slice his hand open when he forgot which way round to hold a sword, was looking at me like I was thick…

"What are you on about? Don't you know that this is the dead plane, no one comes here, if you want to recruit people for a team, you go to the Flea market town in the central one, that where most people go!"

Oh how I'm glad that dark skin doesn't show your blush very well as even our team idiot, with an IQ lower than that of a rat, demonstrates that he knows more about the game than the daughter of the two designers… Not that I had ever paid attention while they tried to explain it to me, but still!

"r-right, I new that" Its obvious that they don't believe me from their patronising looks, but I just keep on talking as though my mouth is no longer connected to my brain, "I was just testing you really, I knew it was there, lets go already!"

To keep from seeing the annoying look that says they are holding back their laughter, I storm off trying to make a dramatic exit, so I am incredibly annoyed when Rose speaks up in a voice that she is not even trying to keep neutral anymore;

"Aurora? You also know that's the wrong direction right?"

Well damn, so much for my exit!
