No words can describe my mother's tears.

Though they are

contagious

heartbreaking

it will always be a shocking sight to see

my mother who is so strong

to suddenly fall back and cry

contagious,

I too will begin to cry.

Heartbreaking

as though my own world has suddenly decided to fall before me.

My hands,

how they shake so violently,

how I reach for my mother in a reassuring hug.

There are no words that can describe her broken heart.

What is there for me to say to her?

I am so powerless

I was never good with words.

" I love you mommy. "
