Final Chapter

And so...

That's how it happened...after the battle well I bet you can pretty much guess what happened next after that. The land of Windemere was turned to it's former glory. It turned out the reason why this place was so downtrotten and gothy was because of Tirnoch's sealed body underneath the land. Now that the great devil was killed, Windemere has returned to normal.

The Vampires and Dark Elves has settled their beef returning to their respective new non aggression pact. The Vampires ruled the North of Windemere while the Dark Elves stayed on their end ruling the South. Work to rebuild the villages and towns that the demons destroyed had begun right away and I was dubbed Windemere's Savior...the Spartan from Another Realm, Kel.

The House of Nights had honored me by building a statue made of pure crystal, a statue of me in my Spartan Armor.

The House of Sorrow did the same building a dark statue made of onyx of me as well. Both of them looked awesome.

The people of Transvayne wanted me to stay and become their new King, but I refused. This is all well and good and I'm not trying to sound cocky about defeating Tirnoch, but there is a lot more work to be done. I only managed to help one country, there is still an entire world left out there.

"Sir Kel...you've done the country of Windemere and this world a great service." Queen Esmeralda the Queen of Elves said sitting upon her throne of leaves. I was down taking a knee before her, the entire village of elves were all packed into the massive throne room watching me in my moment of triumphant. I felt proud to have fought, happy that I didn't give up and unstoppable after defeating the once invincible Tirnoch.

Taking a knee behind me was Aina and the other three elves, Nelwen, Calesmirdes and Gilrin. I wore a new crimson cape with newly crafted golden armor and my helm tucked under my right arm. A New Elven sword strapped to my back with a matching round shield. "Raise your heads brave hero and heroins." She said.

And with that I brought my head up to look at her stunning body. "Though you've faced great perils to obtain victory...there are yet stronger evils in the world. Alfar is still plagued by a great many evils...though as we've established before. This is not your fight, you may live a life peacefully in Windemere or the option for you to return to your world is still at hand."

I looked down at my feet and smiled. "You wound me Queen of Elves, there is no world to return to. Alfar is my world now." I stood to my feet placing my helm back on my head. "I know the world is in trouble right now...Tirnoch and the battle of Windemere is only a tip of the iceberg."

"You have allies here in Etron." Esmeralda bowed her head once.

I shrugged. "Nah...you guys just sit tight and live peacefully here. Let me do all the fighting." I turned my back on the Queen and began marching towards the door. Aina, Gilrin, Calesmirdes and Nelwen all stood to their feet behind me.

"Sir Kel wait! Take us with you." Aina started.

I stopped at the door and looked back at her. "No can do, Etron and Windemere need all of the soldiers they can get. Peace attracts scum...I'll need you to stay back and defend what we worked so hard to achieve." Aina walked up to me as I spoke, she stopped just afew feet infront of me.

"Windemere is well protected by the Vampires and Dark Elves. And Etron is safe from harm as well...Let me."

I turned away from her. "No, just stop being stupid already and live your life peacefully."

She looked down. "I've been given the duty to fight at your side, you would deny me?"

I rolled my eyes. "Listen I'm not in the mood for a sappy ending, stay here. Be happy. Gawd kids are so ungrateful nowadays."

"I...I cannot be happy without you, Sir Kel." She said and there were gasps among the elves. Even Esmeralda seemed surprised but not surprised in a bad way, the queen smiled at her. Aina's crystal light blue eyes gazed upon me. "I...I'm not sure what this is, this burning sensation in my chest and this longing for wanting to be in your presence...it plagues me. What is this feeling? I was hoping...after the battle that I could ask you what this feeling is."

Feelings? Don't tell me she's actually, in love with me? The thought alone made my heart race and my stomach fill with the fluttering butterfly effect. I didn't know what to say. I stood staring at her, her eyes longing for my words, longing for me to explain what's going on. I simply smirked. "Nothing is wrong with you, you're just sick."

When I said that Esmeralda sort of frowned.

Aina looked down feeling her bosom.

"You're perfectly fine, you were only concerned about me because of your mission." I said coldly.

She looked down away from me. "I...no...it's...it's not that I..."

I placed a hand on her shoulder. "Farewell Aina, protect your Queen...your mission to fight with me is done now."

Aina looked confused and it was crushing to do that to her but I bit my lip and left. I'm pretty sure that most of the elves in the room was just as disappointed as I was, but they knew why I had to do that. As the Spartan I am destined to gain lots of enemies, if any of them got ahold of any loved ones I may have, then it could ruin me. I must walk the path of the lonely soldier, for I am the only one of my kind.

I hopped on my steed and galloped off to the east beyond the jungle to the north and the plains to the south.

I will travel to every corner of this world and eradicate the devils who will disturb it. I will protect the lives of the innocent and the swing my blade down on those who wish ill intent upon them. My name is Kel, and I'm Alfar's Last Spartan.
