Spirit
Screaming for help on a cold endless night,
Panting for the breaths they do not have.
Intentions both gruesome and beautiful,
Respite as dark as night, and laughter as light as day.
Innumerable faces and wishes and hauntings,
Tonight, again, the spirits dance their lonely dance alone, as always they have done.
