Wander In A Dream

Another free-verse poem. Probably one of my favorites that I've written. I wrote it awhile back, and I went back and fixed it. Enjoy!

I wander at dawn, down a mystical path.

The wind performs its lullaby, in my ears,

It's melody of perfect notes.

Surrounded by blossoming trees, and its petals twirl and flutter upon me.

The river's song of strength, and power, almost makes me afraid to touch its icy water. The sun accompanies this song, with a dance on top, glistening and sparkling.

Awe struck, I lie on my back and watch the clouds, as they

Tumble through the sky.

Only to be interrupted by the faint sounds of my name.

It doesn't matter,

Because we wouldn't have reality,

Without dreams.
