HI! Re-edited my story. I just added a bit more stuff so she can have some background advice. Sorry if my plot seems a bit scattered and kinda jumpy. I just write what is on the top of my head and i rarely ever plan, but I will start now. Hope you like it. Leave advice.

"I was raised up

beneath the shade of a Georgia pine

And that's home you know

With sweet tea peacan pie

and homemade wine

Where the peaches grow."

(Zac Brown Band. "Chicken Fried")

Ellie-Mae

"Ellen Marie Bodean! Child where have you been?" My mama had a frantic look on her face.

"I was with Carly and Audrey. You know studin'." I placed my book bag on the table.

"Oh right. Sorry I forgot, darlin'." She sighed and returned back to cooking.

I sat at the barstool and rested my head on my crossed arms. I have always loved to watch mama cook ever since I was little. I smiled.

"So at work the other day I was at the copying machine right?"

Mama worked at a court-reporting firm just outside Athens. Her boss, William Braxly, (we call him Bill) is a 70-somethin year old man how is the funniest man you will ever meet.

"Yeah."

"And Bill came in hollerin' something about how a lawyer is admitting a bill to the state that would deregulate court reporting companies in Georgia. I sent a letter in right when I heard that, and the bill is now diminished because of what I wrote!"

"Wow really?" I was really happy for my mama. Even though she could of told me when she first sent it in, but still that is just who she is.

"Yeah. And the one who sent in the bill wrote to me and said that was the best argument I have ever heard. And let me tell you somethin' love," she turned around and faced me with a bowl of spaghetti in her hands, "Nothing makes me more proud when my opponent admits defeat." She sat down the bowl in front of me and I took it over to the table and sat down. I couldn't help but to laugh when she said what she said because it sounds like my mama.

"Caroline! Skeeter! Dinner!"

With her high heels clicking on the tile, she walked over and sat at the head with her Pinot in one hand and the spaghetti in the other.

Caroline jumped down the last step making her curly blonde hair bounce. Skeeter came down almost on top of Caroline, but quickly regained her balance.

"Mama, I got a A on a math quiz today!" Caroline boasted as she sat down next to me.

"I beat everyone in a race in PE today, Mama!" Skeeter added.

"Good job girls. I am so proud."

Skeeter and Caroline are twins but are nothing like each other. Skeeter is a tomboy who only owns one dress. And always wears tennis shoes. Her real name is Sophia, but she would rather be called Skeeter. She has short dark blonde hair that is pin straight. People say she looks like Aunt June, with her long running legs and slim proportions.

Caroline is a girly girl and has every dress and skirt that is available in her size. She is smart and is most likely to become the sister who will be most successful. Caroline is the spiting image of mama. She has a way with a person that makes them feel at ease when she enters a room.

After having a diner that was peaceful, until there was only one piece of garlic bread left and then all hell broke loose for the twins, I toke a long hot shower and snuggled up under my blankets.

I thought about my oldest sister, Mairead. She hated that name so we all called her Mari, but I guess now that she is older she is growing more accustomed to it.

She lives in Atlanta right now with her fiancé, James. They are attending a college down there together, and agreed to get married after they graduate. We all meet him once, when she came down her last year for Christmas. He is sure handsome and mighty kind. James is from Baltimore, Maryland and comes from a well-established family of doctors and lawyers and bankers. To be honest when I first meet him I wasn't that thrilled. I thought he was just going to be another stuck up know it all with tons of money, but no. James is a nice guy with pure intentions. He even impressed my dad, Anderson.

Although, all it takes to impress my dad is to buy him a beer and talk like you have been life long friends. I miss my dad. He and mama got a divorce two years ago and ever since then I get to see him on summer break. He works as a television technical producer for the Atlanta Falcons so his schedule is all over the place. Most people say I take my looks after him. The rest say I take after my mama. I don't think I look like anything like either of them.

My mama is way to beautiful. To me she hasn't changed on bit since I was little. She still has that pride that most people would be ashamed about, but not my mama. She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and to tell you the truth, I don't know where I would be with out her. Everyday before I go to school she says with that smile on her face, "I love you darling. You are a blessing." That just brings me to tears (we are a really emotional family). Mama teaches us how we can make take the worst things in life and turns it into something good. My mama and I have the best relationship anyone can ask for and I cherish it. I would rather die than to break that bond.

I pretty much have a bond like that with everyone though. It is just mama's is the strongest. Audrey and I have been friends ever since we were born. I practically grew up with her. She is my sister and I love her. Audrey is the sweetest person and she is also very laid back. That is why we get along so well.

Last summer Audrey, Liam and I went to the lake. Liam is also a close friend. I have known him since 5th grade and well we just kind of bonded. I still have a crush on him, but since I know he is comfortable with just being friends, then I am all right with it. I just want to be near him at least.

Liam is just so sweet and nice and well cute. He is not the hottest boy around but I don't care about that. Lately though we haven't been talking a lot and I keep wondering if he found out that I like him. Every time we see each other at school there is this awkward tension between us and I hate it. I just want to be friends again.

I looked over at the clock and my eyes almost bulged out of my head. It is 1 am. I need to go to sleep.
