Hello and welcome back to Stringy and Mopy: The Adventure Begins! I'm really happy that you guys enjoyed my fic, you will not believe how long it took me to develope my characters. It took me nearly 11 years for me to design them from left to right. It was a brutal, but worth it. I know that I don't want to repeat myself twice, but granted, I wrote Stringy and Mopy before, but that was when I was just a tike. The story is getting some recognition, I think. Also in addition, do you think there should be a sequel? Vote on my profile if you are or against it. I hope I see your votes, reviews and/or messages soon. So with that being said and done, let's move on with the brand new chapter for Stringy and Mopy: The Adventure Begins.
The Circus
When the sun was at its highest, Stringy and Mopy were walking on the left side of the empty road. Mopy, still a little freaked out about him leaving his own dimension and still angry about what happened to his mother. Vengeance was still in a constant level of relief when he was around Stringy. It was funny to him, when he's around her, he couldn't feel but a sure of relief. His heart level was normal, but yet he couldn't hold in his grief. Stringy could sense Mopy's grim behavior by just looking at him. Even when he talks to her, it seems as if something was bothering him. He began his story about him being very young. The start of it was very grim. Having that his father died, and that he lived in poverty, plus add the parts of him being constantly bullied by Broomy and his goons really made her blood to boil by the mention of their names.
"They did what?" Stringy was infuriated.
"They dump me in the garbage and left me in there just because of one little thing," said Mopy.
"Like what?" she asked.
Mopy's cheeks became red hot.
"No, you'll laugh," said Mopy.
"Come on, you got to tell. Don't worry, I'll keep a secret," said Stringy.
"You know where I come from, the person that says that they'll quote unquote they'll keep a secret, more times out of ten they'll rat you out while you shun under the moonlight hollering 'why?'!" Mopy joculated.
Stringy giggled.
Mopy was shocked. Back in his home dimension, he never made a girl laugh, nor even smile at best. The only time he get some recognition to the girls in his school was when he gets bullied. Over here for some reason, he just made a joke and pop, he found a happy young woman walking besides him. Mopy was very pleased.
"No, no," Stringy chuckled a little, "I promise."
"You're sure?" Mopy was playfully suspicious.
Stringy nodded.
"Okay," Mopy began, "They dumped me in the garbage because well, Broomy showed the whole class the picture of his mother right? Now despite her *clears throat* looks, she was surprisingly rich. That shocked the class, but by being me and for the shrewd for revenge for they've done to me over the years, I said, 'Is that a human female or is that a very unattractive alien for Feo? It made Broomy so mad that he went into a ranting spree," Mopy said giggling remembering the event.
"So how does that explain of you being dumped?" Stringy asked giggling.
"I told you, I insulted his mother and uh, kicked him on the shin, four times," Mopy admitted.
Stringy was dumbstrucked and rose a brow? Mopy scratched the back of his head.
"Yeah, that was the final blow for Bromy's inhumane anger," he said.
"Well he deserved it anyway, bullying you for all those years. This Broomy person and his 'friends' are nothing but..." then suddenly a train of colorful trucks passed by them. It looks as if it belonged to a circus.
"My gosh, the fair," said Stringy.
"The what?" Mopy asked.
"The circus has come to town," Stringy's euphoria was scaring Mopy.
"What's so good about a circus, Strings?" Mopy asked.
Stringy glared at Mopy.
"Oh, sorry. You don't like being called Strings," Mopy recalled.
"Sorry, I get like that when people call me Strings," said Stringy.
"Why?" Mopy asked.
"N-No reason," Stringy scratched her head. Mopy rose a brow. He wanted to question her further but decided against it. At least for now that is.
"Oh, please don't give me that discombobulated look. It makes me uncomfortable," said Stringy.
Mopy was still confused, but shook it off. Stringy asked Mopy that could he come to the circus with her. Mopy was unsure about going seeing people in odd costume doing greatly, dangerous stunts to please the very crowd among them. Stringy got on her knees and begged him to come. Mopy sighed. Stringy got up realizing that it was just plain stupid and a major turnoff for someone you just first met.
"I don't know Stringy, I am not a fan of the circus," said Mopy.
"Why not?" Stringy asked.
"It's just that it's not my thing. See where I come from..."
Suddenly, Mopy was tackled down and jumped on by a girl with blue hair and the boy who wore a blue shirt with the letter Z in the front. Zachary and Phillia pinned Mopy down painfully as he tries to fight them off. Stringy was horrified.
"Hey, get off of him!" she yelled pulling Zachary away. Phillwas aimed hbad silver badge at Mopy, and it was glowing moderately slow illuminating to a violent state.
"Stay down if you like to eat cookies," threatened Phillia.
"Say what?" Mopy was lost, "That doesn't make any sense!"
Finally, Stringy stepped in and told Phillia to step down.
"But he was about to go into the next tier, the tier where he works his charms against your will to think for yourself. Thus, you will be controlled by the likes of this guy!" Phillia yelled pointing towards Mopy.
"What?" Stringy, Mopy, and Zachary were lost just by hearing Phillia's idiotic explanation.
"Heck, I'm crazy and I know that doesn't make any sense," said Zachary.
"That's a new low, Phillia," said Stringy.
"What, he pushed you down where he supposed to push me down and carry me on his back among the trees...and uh such," said Phillia awkwardly. She shunned in silence. It was an awkward silence. The trio all stared at Phillia with confused looks on their faces. A crow caws from out of nowhere.
"Awkward," said Mopy getting up.
"Anyway," Stringy was turning her attention away from Phillia, "Are you sure you don't want to come to the circus, it'll be fun," Stringy said.
Phillia scoffs, "She's asking you to go to the circus? Good luck with that, what you should do is to hang with us. I mean who knows what goes on in there. Lions are probably learning how to read and scaring mice," she said. As she rambles on, Mopy quickly decided that he'll go with Stringy. Zachary paid no attention to the group. He just stood there aloof at what was going on. As Mopy walked away from Phillia, she continued all the "fun" stuff they'll be having on the junkyard with her other friends.
In the circus, Mopy entered the area with at first fear and second thoughts. But he noticed that they're was a myriad of people in the area. That was very strange. He looked around the area still curious about the place. Then suddenly, a circus director came and bumped into Mopy.
"Hi, I'm sorry young lad. Didn't mean to hit you. Say, you look familiar," said the circus director.
"He does?" Stringy asked.
"Funny, he looked more like that grim fellow. Hm, oh well. Say, Samantha, glad you can return for the 5th year in the row," said the director.
"5 years?" Mopy recalled.
"Yep, 5 years the human cannon, onelegged Samantha had volunteered for the circus. It's almost like she's family here. Despite the fact that she already has one," the director chuckled.
"Hm," Mopy thought.
"Oh, um Mr. Sarini, this is my friend Mopy, Mopy this is Mr. Sarini," Stringy introduced Mopy to Mr. Sarini.
Mopy and Mr. Sarino shook hands. Mr. Sarini reminds Steingy that she must get dressedfor tonight's performance. Stringy and left for the dressing room. But before she went, she says, "Don't go anywhere without me," and winked at him as she went.
Mopy was curious to why the circus was so important to her. It really means so much to her. So he asked Mr. Salini about her and her strong likining for the circus.
"Well, 5 years ago, Samantha had trouble with the other kids in this county. Kids can be so cruel, even in this section of the county. So one day, she found us and gave us shelter since her grandfather was out doing lemon monster hunting or some crazy anomility he was into. I don't know. So we sheltered her until her grandfather came to pick her up. More likes her grandfather cares more about his fear of fruits than of his own granddaughter," he said.
"Tell me about it," Mopy said.
"Anyway, we showed her the ways of the circus and later trained her. She was stumped at first, but we managed to pull her up," he said, "Heck, you got yourself a keeper. There were no girl like her. Girls like that are extremely rare," Mr. Sarini said.
"You have no...whoa," Mopy dropped his jaw once he saw Stringy coming out from the dressing booth. She was wearing black tights with the white I in the middle. The tights exposed only a quarter of her chest.
"My god," Mopy said.
"You like it? I'm sorry I was in there so long. So where do I get to rehearse?" Stringy asked.
"Over there, Samantha," Mr. Sarini said pointing her to the tent.
"Thanks," said Stringy running towards the tent. Suddenly, aNother male came in and closes his mouth. He was big and strong and was very ostentatious about his muscles.
"Forget it, bean," he said, "Ze girl tis out of zhour league," he laughed.
Mr. Sarini glared at the man as he heads for his trailer after lifting objects twice his size.
"Don't mind him," he said, "The man's all muscle, but no brains. I wonder why did I recruit him to be in our circus I'll never know," Mr. Sarini said. He pays Mopy on his back and told him to stand with the people in a short queue or sit down while at the queue as the cast of the circus gets ready.
In the strong man's trailer, he closes the door and sat down next to a mirror smilling and practising his dull introductiomaw when suddenly someone knocked on his door.
"Circus isn't in until the sun wanes, come back when you pay the money in the queue," he said.
The door knocked again.
This infuriated the man.
"I said, circus is not..." When he got to the dor and opened it, in front of him was a man wearing all black with a woman whose as word was unsheathed.
"We're not here for the circus," said the man in a demonic tone on his voice.
"Oh Emily," said the man.
Autho's Notes: I hope that this wasn't too confusing or too fast. So, what do you think what's going to happen to the two main protagonists? Do you think that this chapter was an improvement or an utter dissapointment? Remember, reviews are always appreciated, and until we meet again, I bid you all an adieu and...
Peace!
