 The birth of new haiku

Yah, the title is weird but I tried to make it original. These are haiku, but not shallow ones about beating people at stuff or whatever. These are more nature stuff.

So, I've recently discovered haiku and they are cool, so I thought I'd give my own a shot. These are the first I've ever written. Enjoy!

The lone tree stands white.
It mourns for this lifeless place,
Winter in its heart.
