A poem on war...

Guns firing off in the distance,

Ringing in the ears of young men.

Who lay down their lives to protect,

They are the real life heroes.

Not like the fictional ones in books,

These are real people.

Who have real lives that they sacrifice,

In order to save their countries.

And may they always be in our minds,

And shall we never forget their deeds that they gave.

The sacrifices that they made.

Shall we never forget,

The lives that were lost.

And shall we always honor,

The men and women who have laid down their lives for they are the real heroes.

This is in dedication to all who have lost their lives in the past and to those who fall in the future.

May God always be with you.
