Meet Poppet

"Before you go I have your test," the class groaned. "Savanah congratulations on the highest grade." He handed her, her test.

"What did she get?" the Sky twins asked in jealousy.

"Prefect," Savanah answered, "Why did I get prefect?"

"You studied," Mr. J-Cal answered handing out the other test. "Second highest was a scary one," He looked over to the twins, "99 percent, finished at the same time and have the same answers...how does that work?" He gave Storm a disappointing look because of his grade.

"Are brains are connected," they answered, "can read each other's thoughts and talk without thinking about that." Cheerfully and happy with their grade, they smiled.

Spencer focused on the twins, "how the hell can you be so happy?" he asked.

The girls shrugged happily.

"Notice it's all the girls that got above ninety on the test," Jude noticed looking from girl to girl, "then there's us guys."

Spencer looked at Jude's test, "You got better than me? How? No a offence but you're not the smartest."

"Looks can be dissaving," Cal answered coming back to the front of the class. "Have a great-."

The door flew off, smashing into the cabinet beside Joe. She shook her daze as the area around became ice with anger. Her skin is snow white, eye color a light blue, same as her lips, and hair color. Ices, she changed her name too.

"Ices?" Jones rushed to her aid, "Are you okay?"

"It's sunshine!" Demetrius called out, "I forgot about her!"

"That's not surprising," Jade mumbled to herself.

Ices sat back against the cabinet, she snapped her to Mr. J-Cal, "Please keep Edward scissor burning hands away from me!" The starting of a snow storm flew around her and room became cold.

The final bell of the week rang and Wave came in holding Edward's ear, "Get her off of me!" He yelled. "She pissed me off!"

"I watched you push her into the wall," Wave let go of his ear. "Power down," she noticed his fingers turning into hot metal.

"Edward, why did you push her?" Joe asked packing papers that need to be marked. Edward thought blankly on the question. Finally he shrugged. "You know Ices reacts when something hot touches her-."

"I guess I should stay away from her," Demetrius gave Ices a wink.

"That was horrible," Wave said, "I feel like slapping you."

Features of a tiger came out on Jade, "Please say that." she put her hand down.

The rest of the class faced Edward, "Frost freak." He left the arc of the door.

Wave cracked her fingers and started for him, "Wave," Joe pulled on her shirts collar, "I'll deal with him." And he ran after him.

"Ices," Jones helped her, even though her hands are ice cold, "are you okay?"

She showed her pink burn marks, "I'll be fine… a great way to start the weekend." She used sarcasm. "This is one of the new classes?"

She faced the class wanting to switch subjects, "Oh no!" Wave put herself in the middle, "If I can't beat him… you have burn that need to be taken care of, if you would like after you can meet the class… take her away Jones." Jones took Ices's hand, guiding her to the infirmary. Wave looked over the bystanders, "get lost." She pointed to the door and they ran out.

"Who is Ices, Katie?" Tony asked as the students sat around in her dorm room.

Katie put her homework down, "Ices, doesn't like Steamers with fire ability's. It's better if you stay clear from her because her skin burns so easily."

"She was born… like Neon and Leon with the white skin and hair?" Lenic asked sitting next to the neon green girl.

Neon smiled looking down.

"Yes and no," Katie answered, "She was born with the ability. Before coming here she had a terrible accident involving Edward."

"Which no one but I know what happened between them," Wave closed the door behind her, "Don't bother me, I'm going to study."

"Still fighting?" Larissa commented, "It's been over a month, you two should be friends again."

"Not her," Katie looked down, "Because of Luka, I've lost my best friend- but I have other friends." She added quickly.

"I'll talk sense into her," Skyla went for the door on the right.

"I wouldn't if I were you," Katie warned but Skyla was already gone. "How are questions one to seven going?"

"Hard," Jude answered, "What are the answers for questions two to seven?"

"Why, two to seven?" Jason asked at his page to find six questions.

"The first question is 'what is your name,'" Jude answered which surprised just about every on. "That's right I know my name."

The door on the right of the room opened with a dam with Skyla holding Wave's ear, "Make up," Skyla commanded pushing Wave into the desk. "Out," Skyla grabbed the arms of Neon and Lenic, "If we get out so they can make up, maybe Wave won't wanna rip the heads of everyone she sees. That includes us"

The room was cleared and Katie stood facing her friend. "How about this," Wave crossed her arms walking to the window, "if I see Puka I'll kill him," she snapped her body to face Katie, "or hurt… whatever comes first… or I'm pulled off." She paced back Katie, "If I don't, we're all good…"

Katie wrapped her arms around Wave's neck, "It's Luka and you won't hear me even say his name as long I get to see him in his classes but promise me you won't stay mad at me for such a long time again!" Katie let go.

Wave blinked slowly, "I'm more of hand shake kind of a person…"

"Storm, Lenic," Larissa burst into their dorm room, "I want your help!"

"It's not even Monday and you want us to work? Shame on you, Lare," Lenic crossed his arms childishly.

"Let me say thing again, Lenny. You're helping no matter what!" Larissa tapped her foot on the dark carpet. "Or… Storm and I could go- by ourselves…"

"I'm in!" Storm ran over wrapping his right arm around her waist.

"Hey Storm I can smell rare meat," Lenic sniffed the cold air.

Storm shut his eyes, "Don't do this to me… You know I was trying not kill for it."

"You will kill for food…?" Larissa pealed his arm off, "…dumbass male…"

"Hey," a new female voice said behind the open door, "shouldn't you be in the study with everyone else?"

"Who are you?"

"Poppet…? Are you okay?" Larissa stepped away from the door. "Everyone waiting for you, let's go." She grabbed Larissa's wrist.

"Sh-shouldn't we help her?" Lenic ran to the door looking down the hall as Larissa tried to lose the girls grip.

"I guess we should," the two brothers ran down the hall, and another and another until they got lost. "I lost her scent."

"So did I. Didn't that say something about the study?"

"Where is that?"

"Hey, Katie!" Lenic almost ran right into Katie with his super speed. "Where is the study?"

"No!" Katie shut his mouth with her hand, "If anyone finds out there are other normal humans besides Joe and Sadie all hell will break out."

"There are other humans?" Storm removed Katie's hand away. "And why does Poppet know?"

"Of course that is her family on there... wait?" Katie stepped back a few steps, "What do you know?"

"There are humans in the academy and if you don't tell where it is so we can help Larissa, who was pulled away with some girl calling her 'Poppet' we will run from room to room saying there are other humans." Storm threated Katie.

"This way," she took the lead.

"And why are you here Larissa?" Wave asked taking her seat around table set with fine China.

"I could ask you the same thing," She sat back in the chair beside Wave.

"Blondie over there call you Poppet?" Larissa nodded, "I knew you took familiar but Poppet?"

Wave looked at Larissa, "You'll do fine as long you don't speak and here's your new fake family," Wave stood as a very rich looking couple, Joe and Sadie.

Sadie sat next Larissa, "Where's Poppet?" She asked through her smiling teeth.

"She doesn't know Poppet, she only looks like her," Wave answered.

"I knew it," Joe smiled prideful. "Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Barren. May I introduce Sadie's daughter Wave Collie."

The couple gave a look of disgusted, "You're… uh Poppet's friend?"

"Oh yes," Wave gracefully spoke even with a smile, "Poppet and I have become great friends and I hope you'll let her stay, it would be a heart break to many."

Their tea went on smashingly; it was nearing the end when things went downhill.

"Great actor," Larissa muttered about how nice, gentle and kind Wave can be to strangers.

Wave slightly leaned back, "The real Poppet left." She told Larissa, "Please excuse my rude leave but I must… fuck it!" Wave stood opening the door and having Katie, Lenic and Storm fall on her. "Get the hell off me!"

"Poppet this is… your friend?" Mrs. Barren stood, "You're coming home with us, tonight!"

"I'm not your daughter! All though it would be nice, now will someone tell me… who—the—hell—is—Poppet? Larissa angrily looked at the young couple.

"Poppet can take the form of another Steamer by touch and her normal form looks like you, she's a level three and hates her overly protective parents," Wave laid on her stomach, "Larissa, when you we're trying hack into the computer a month ago, the girl I was with was well Poppet."

"Poppet?" Mr. Barren stood, "Then where is she?"

"I wasn't done yet," Wave held her head up, "Poppet loves it here and would done anything to stay. Blondie that brought you here was Poppet." Wave stood, walking evilly over to the Barren's, "if you don't like us, or care for us… get the hell out of my academy because frankly we don't want Steamer hating humans here...! You're lucky Poppet even writes you letters, most of us try not even think about our horrid families."

"Well then…" Mrs. Barren shyly spoke, "Can we speak to the real Poppet, Waverly."

Wave girt her teeth. "I'll take 'Waverly,' and the others and you can have the Barren's," Sadie and Joe shook on it. "Come on children… I'll buy supper." Sadie kindly helped Wave away from ripping human heads off and guided all five of the Steamers way. "We're done!"

"But you said you'd buy supper," Lenic pouted with googly eyes.

"Pizza?" Lenic nodded and Sadie snapped out of her trance, "What just happened?"

"Nothing…"

"Poppet…?" Larissa stepped into the library of the academy. She wondered around finding books she liked and piling them neatly in her hands. Finally she came to the geography section of the huge library, seeing Poppet sit alone reading. "Poppet," Larissa stood over her as Poppet shacked.

Poppet look up meeting eyes with Larissa, the two could be like the Sky twins but not neon colors. "Please don't be mad! I know you've heard my story most likely but I don't like being a sheltered lamb anymore! I want see the world and this only begging because kill Eaters!"

"I'm not mad… I just wanted to see the real Poppet."

A/N that's right eleven chapters I think I should get hugs! Honestly, I've been feeling happy for no reason all and i'm loving it! Well more chapters coming soon! WAIT! Ices will be coming back soon in like winter time but until then thank you to all of my reviews and fans. You mean a to me! =)
